Active in Bruges c. 1449-1481, Willem Vrelant was one of the most prolific and influential Flemish artists of the time. He contributed two miniatures to the second campaign: St Waltrude (fol. 257r) and St Aldegund (fol. 257v).

This 15th-century miniature was painted by the prolific and influential Flemish artist Willem Vrelant who was active in Bruges c. 1449-1481. St Waltrude is among the saints venerated in the Southern Netherlands whose images and suffrages were added to the Grandes Heures for Philip the Good.
