Yolande of Anjou (1412-1440), second daughter of Yolande of Aragon and Louis II of Anjou, married the future Duke of Brittany, Francis I (1414-1450), in 1431. She was probably the woman originally depicted kneeling in prayer before the Virgin and Child on fol. 20r. After her death, her portrait was overpainted with that of Francis’ second wife, Isabella Stuart.
