This year's free Big Draw event at the Fitzwilliam Museum falls on one of our popular Family First Saturdays (Saturday 6 October: 14.00 - 16.00).

The Museum has held Big Draw events for many years now, inspired by our exciting art collection. Activities have ranged from tiny doodles, to huge collaborative murals.

Themed 'Moving lines', this year's event invites families to draw dancers from Bodywork Studio, in novel and fun ways. This playful activity explores the fluid line drawings of contemporary artist France-Lise McGurn, on view in our special exhibition Virginia Woolf.

There will also be family tours of the Museum for those 5+, and storytelling for those 0-5 yrs. For more information about these visit our Family First Saturday event listing.
