We are looking forward to welcoming families to our Chinese New Year family events tomorrow, Saturday 1 February.

In light of the coronavirus outbreak, our event partner Cambridge China Centre has taken the decision to cancel some planned activities. The Jade Emperor’s Great Race storytelling and the calligraphy workshops will no longer run. Anyone who has bought tickets to these events will be reimbursed through Cambridge Live. The papercutting and lantern making activities are also cancelled.

Activities will now be as follows:

* Tai Chi (all ages on front lawn - weather dependent at 12.00 - 12.20 & 14.00 - 14.30)

* Treasure Hunt Trail: Chinese New Year Zodiac. Search for special Chinese Zodiac animals in the Museum’s collection (all ages, 12.00 - 16.00)
