The soft modelling of the Virgin’s robes in the main image suggest that the Giac Master emulated the drapery painted by the Madonna Master on fol. 136v. The marginal scene of the Virgin at her loom belongs to a cycle of miniatures illustrating events in Mary’s life. The arms of Isabella Stuart have been added to the border.
