The Ancients' Appliance of Science is a problem solving, interactive web resource for children at Key Stage 2. Based in the culture of ancient Egypt it takes children through a series of on-line activities which introduce some technological and scientific problems faced and solved by the ancient Egyptians. The site was funded by the DfES through the second phase of the Museums and Galleries Education Programme. This approach to museum teaching is included in the National Primary Stategy.
