Luke Syson is the Fitzwilliam Museum’s Director and Marlay Curator. Prior joining the Fitzwilliam in 2019, he worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where he had oversight of the USA’s largest and most comprehensive collection of European applied arts and sculpture. He has also held curatorial positions at the National Gallery in London, the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
