What has the Cambridge Theban Tombs Project been doing in the Tombs of the Nobles in Luxor?

We've been working in these tombs since 1984, aiming to do something about the lamentable state of documentation.

TT294, 253, and 254

This work was published in 1996, and clicking on the small picture to the right will take you to a summary of that project.

TT297

This tomb was originally part of the TT294 project, but when we got to the tomb, it was clear that it had been destroyed in a rock fall. Thus the extant records of the tomb by Norman and Nina de Garis Davies and the Metropolitan Museum of Art were published to the best of our ability in 2003.

TT99

This is our current project, and we are trying to keep the Web pages up to date and do some interesting things. The first volume of the project went to press in 2016 and should appear around October 2016. Click on the photo below to find out what is going on:
