In 1998 I began what was at that time an unusual thing for Egyptology, which was writing a daily diary in the field and uploading it to the TT99 web site in the UK. It was well received and I continued it until the last season in 2002. So here is a set of links to the pages as produced. The different years can also be accessed from the menu at the top of the page.
A note to dig directors thinking of doing this in future. It is very likely that with changes in rules of the SCA that you should make sure that you now get the permission of senior figures in the SCA for doing this. The SCA is understandably keen on ensuring that information about digs is disseminated firstly through them, and only with their agreement through other media.
