Notes

The album, wrongly described in Thieme-Becker, Vol. XXXIV, p. 69, as a sketch-book, was exhibited at St Petersburg in 1912 and published by Alexandre Benois in Storij Gooly, 1912. 15 drawings from this album were exhibited at Messrs. Jeudwine and Miss Yvonne ffrench, Alpine Club Gallery May 1960, nos. 31-46, pl. VII.
