By giving access to a world of cultural experiences that will be a first for many children in the area.
Help us raise funds to bring experts and objects to schools in Soham, to engage and inspire young people aged 3 -16 through history and art.
The Fitzwilliam Museum and Soham Schools Partnership aims to:
Enhance classroom learning through experts and objects
Offer students tailored learning visits to the Museum
Enable teachers from all curricular areas to deliver their own creative projects
Engage the community with a local history project
Create exhibitions and displays in school

Soham Village College is a catchment school for Soham and the villages of Barway, Wicken, Fordham, Isleham, Chippenham, Snailwell, Kennett and Burwell. These new creative opportunities will enable young people discover new ideas, develop fresh approaches to learning and raise aspirations and levels of achievement.
The effects of the initiative will reach communities across rural East Cambridgeshire.
Our aspiration is that this partnership will provide a blueprint for future initiatives, helping to inspire similar projects across the region and the UK.

This project can only happen with your generous support.
It is being launched through a national fundraising challenge called the Big Arts Give. Over a hundred arts projects across the country will be racing to raise as much money as possible from Monday 6 December.
For every pound raised online, the challenge fund can double your donation.
SPEED IS CRUCIAL:
the faster donations come in, the greater the proportion of the challenge-pot we can win for the project.
Please donate online from 6 December and help us change lives through learning!
