The response to the eGuide during public trials has been very positive. The majority of people who have tried it report that the eGuide enhanced their visit and that it compares favourably with other forms of interpretation. Although it will not necessarily be right for everyone it can be used in different ways and it has the potential to play a significant role as an aid to learning and enjoyment in a museum environment.
