[comments: Ref. This model does not resemble the Meissen lady paired with the gentleman or actor in 'The Blown Kiss'. She appears on several different bases, and may be paired with a completely different male figure, described as a gallant or actor, see Bradshaw, p. 178, B122, illustrated on p. 155, pl. 164, the lady on the right, and gallant on the left. The anchor with cable and dagger mark is noted by Bradshaw on the example of the Blown Kiss in the Untermeyer Collection (see Hackenbroch, 1956 and 1957). The anchor with cable is less common than an anchor without a cable, see p. 44-5 Cf.
