Bronze, cast, with gold patina.

Production Notes

Lady Epstein, in a letter dated Sep. 4th 1970 addressed to Miss Pleister, stated that this was 'the 8th of an edition of ten. After the sculptor's death the original plaster cast was one of many donated by me to the Museum of Israel in Jerusalem.' See also a letter dated March 29th (no year) from Jacob Epstein to Miss Pleister, concerning the delivery of a bronze and mentioning 'Joan'.
