'When' is for searching for production date related fields.

Three forms are allowed:

• a single date (e.g. 1530)
• a date range (e.g. 1845/1855) using a forward-slash to separate the two dates
• a period (e.g 1st Dynasty or 18th century) - this will search production period instead of actual dates

** Please note there are some known problems with date related searching at this time (August 2005).

Fields currently searched:

• Date early
• Date late
• Production Period (for non numeric searches)
