The Fitzwilliam Museum wishes to appoint a Security Assistant to join the existing Security team in order to maintain the high standard of security for the Museum, its exhibits, staff and visitors, including contractors.
The successful candidate will be flexible, have a sound general education with good literacy, numeracy and IT skills as well as an impeccable employment record and good character. The ability to communicate in a courteous and calm manner as is the ability to handle difficult situations are essential requirements.
Experience of security work is essential and a SIA Licence is welcomed.
This post will require a Security check. Whether an outcome is satisfactory will be determined by the University.
