New educational award for The Fitzwilliam Museum

The Museum has been awarded the ‘Learning Outside the Classroom’ Quality Badge.

This scheme, organized by the Department of Children, Schools and Families, aims to create a national accreditation for organizations providing school visits, and the ‘Learning Outside the Classroom’ Quality Badge helps schools identify organizations and venues offering high-quality teaching and learning experiences. The Fitzwilliam is one of the first museums in the East of England to receive this award.
