Philippe Le Roy (1596-1679)

Philippe Le Roy was a diplomat who achieved distinction at a young age. Among other accomplishments he became, councillor to governor Cardinal-Infant Ferdinand, knight of the Holy Roman Empire in 1647, and in 1648 he played a part in the peace negotiations that ended the Thirty Years War.
