Maurice Denis

Denis (1870-1943), like Sérusier, was a founding member of the Nabi group. He also produced lithographs and collaborated with the writer André Gide to create an illustrated version of Gide's novel Le Voyage d'Urien, published in 1893.
Whereas the previous portraits were printed in editions of 12, for this print Redon increased the size of
the edition to 25.
