Ottoman silver onluk of Selim III, from Istanbul, 1795-6

This silver onluk is from the Ottoman Empire, minted at Istanbul between 1795 and 1796 during the reign of Sultan Selim III (1789-1807). The obverse shows Selim's royal cipher or tughra, and the reverse indicates that it was minted at Istanbul in the sixth year of his reign.
