32 Wooden headrest

Ethiopia, Oromo ?
First half of the twentieth century or later

This wooden headrest is carved from a single piece of wood on a conical base, the edges of which curve slightly inwards. The headrest is slightly slanted towards the head of the user. There are marks of rat teeth on the lateral supports and the platform and some basic restorations on the base.
