
9 Green faience amulet
Late Period (746-332 BC)
This amulet or fitting represents the god Hathor with a human face and cow’s ears. Her hair is styled in a bi-partite wig and she also wears a collar. At the top of her head she wears a headdress consisting of a row of cobras, a reference to the top of a naos or shrine.
