Description(s):
Late Medieval maiolica cup with one handle, painted in manganese and green with, on the inside, a fleur-de-lis or leaf between antlers.
Earthenware, tin-glazed greyish-beige on both sides; base unglazed. Painted in manganese and copper-green.
Shape approximately 21. Circular with carinated sides, narrow foot and one loop handle of oval section; the other missing.
Inside, within two manganese circles, there is a fleur-de-lis or leaf between antlers surrounded by cross-hatching; on the rim, a green band, and, on the outside, a green band and two green spots on the handle.
