Description:
Ivory brisé fan with pierced, rounded finials, below which the fan is ribboned. The upper sticks feature a large, elongated oblong, bordered by carved leaves and flowers. Within the oblong there is a small, central mongram cartouche flanked by symmetrical designs of carved pagodas, birds, trees and landscape imagery. The lower sticks (gorge) are pierced in a Greek key design.
