PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 245 x 213 mm, text on verso 203 x 150 mm, 6 long lines on recto, 2 columns of 25 lines on verso, ruled in faint brown ink.
CONTENTS: Canon of the Mass.
DECORATION: Large framed miniature on gold and diapered ground:
Crucifixion with the Virgin, St Mary Magdalene, St John, the centurion, two angels, and Ecclesia gathering Christ’s blood in a chalice, four corner medallions showing a priest celebrating Mass, the Martyrdom of St Thomas Becket, Ecclesia and Synagoga.
ORNAMENTATION: Green interlaced initial: [T, 6 ll.] with foliate extensions on gold ground; alternate red and blue pen-flourished initials [2 ll.]; alternate one-line red and blue initials.
