The popularity of Ancient Egypt means that many societies have sprung up to which persons interested in the ancient cultures can belong. They vary from semi-professional organisations to those for the interested lay public, and of course those which incorporate both.
There is also the EEF list of Egyptological Societies and Institutes.
Readers should note that it is normal for such sites to be in the language of the country in which they operate.
I have noted that many of these URLs, particularly in the UK, stop working with alarming irregularity. PLEASE can society organisers inform Nigel Strudwick when they change or become invalid or I will delete them when I find them not working.
