Some private collections, although not physically accessible to visitors, have some of their collection online. I have added this page to try and include some of those most relevant to Egypt.

Private collections are somewhat notorious for either acquiring objects which are not genuine, or for purchasing objects from sources which would not be used by public museums. Links I place here are to collections which I believe to contain genuine objects, but I ignore the question of how they were acquired.
