Quentin Blake: Drawn by Hand
Quentin Blake is one of the best-known illustrators of his generation. Drawn by Hand looks at individual works he has produced in the past decade: book illustrations, etchings, lithographs, drawings and works done for hospitals in various and contrasting media. This work will be accompanied by a display of pens, brochures, inks, watercolours, quills and other materials from the artist’s studio.
Tue 12 February 2013 to Sun 12 May 2013
Due to anticipated popular demand throughout the Winter and Spring, we have arranged for timed ticket entry to Quentin Blake: Drawn by Hand in the Shiba Gallery (located two flights up from the Courtyard Entrance in Trumpington Street)
How it works:
- All tickets are FREE.
- You can pick up tickets from the Courtyard Entrance reception desk only.
- These will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis; ticketed access to the exhibition will be allowed in twenty minute-increments throughout the day. You can name the time you’d like to attend on the day you pick up the tickets, but cannot get tickets for future days.
- At some times during the day, due to popular demand, there is likely to be a time-lag between when tickets are actually issued, and the next soonest time they allow you access. Apologies in advance for this, but we urge you to see more of the Museum in the meantime ...
