The Department of Manuscripts and Printed Books is currently closed.
The Department of Manuscripts and Printed Books is closed. The collections of illuminated manuscripts, music, rare books, literary autographs and archives are stored in different, temporary locations, while new storage is being built. We hope to re-open the department on 13 June 2013. If you have a deadline and need to consult material urgently before June, please, contact fitzmuseum-msspb@lists.cam.ac.uk. While we cannot guarantee access to the material, we will do everything possible to accommodate urgent research needs.
If you would like to order photography, please contact images@fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk
