Sessions can be tailor made to your needs and take a cross curricular approach encouraging speaking, listening and fine motor skills as well as subject knowledge.

  • Gallery teaching sessions for KS1 and KS2
  • Practical workshops in our Education Studio to develop and extend themes explored in the galleries (max. of 30 students). Techniques and themes explored have included working with clay, printmaking, painting, drawing, batik, calligraphy, colour and pigment to name a few.
  • "Do it Yourself" printed information for teachers leading their own visit.
  • "Into Action" gallery activities for your pupils
  • "Fact Sheets" for teachers leading their own visits.
  • A range of Online Resources which include interactive websites exploring Making Art and Ancients Appliance of Science as well as Fact Sheets on works of art used in our teaching sessions.
  • Advice on how to plan your visit and making a booking.
