Yvette Wilkie

I have visited the Fitzwilliam Museum many times but it wasn't until this year that I discovered the Fan Gallery. My usual approach to making art is through drawing and painting. For this exhibition I wanted to make something three dimensional using craft skills – a decision made after looking at fans in the museum's collection.
