Artemis Ruestau is a postgraduate intern at the Hamilton Kerr institute. She works together with the other interns, students and staff members on the conservation of easel painting. Recent projects include baroque Italian paintings, Dutch still lives from the 17th century and paintings from the early 20th century. She has also worked on in-situ projects, including at Weston Park.
Her research interests include the conservation of contemporary and modern art, new materials in art, ephemeral art and ethical issues in conservation.
