Anna Cooper is a Paintings Conservation Intern
at the Hamilton Kerr Institute. She recently graduated with a Postgraduate
Diploma in Easel Painting Conservation from the Courtauld Institute of Art,
during which time she was also a Research Associate Scholar for the
Courtauld Gallery with focused research on a fourteenth century Florentine
panel painting. She has undertaken work placements in public collections
and private conservation studios prior to continuing her early career
development at the Hamilton Kerr Institute. Anna's research interests
include looking at the use of artist's materials and techniques, water
sensitive oil paints occurring in twentieth century paintings, and the
production of the pigment Rose Madder.
