Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal, 1910-1935
At King George V's succession to King Edward VII in 1910, most of the service medals then on issue were renewed with a portrait of the new monarch by Richard Garbe, but with the current reverses and suspensions maintained. The Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal was no exception, as comparison with the previous issue will show.
This medal was awarded to Private W. Comber of The East Kent Regiment, otherwise known as The Buffs. Lester Watson acquired it at some point before 1928.
