Displaying Greece & Rome in the 21st Century

Here you can go behind the scenes of the re-display of the Gallery of Greece and Rome (Gallery 21), which opened at the end of January 2010 after 18 months of work.

These pages explain why and how any gallery display is put together, and some of the background to this particular gallery display. The gallery progress diary, created by the project Research Associates Kate Cooper and Christina Rozeik, discusses curatorial and design decisions, display practicalities and conservation issues.
