Satyr playing the pipes

This offers a variation on the theme of marble sculpture GR.2.1850: an older, fatter satyr plays his pipes beneath a garland, while a female head below and to the left shows that he is part of a larger scene. The fragment is part of a decorative plaque or inlay, carved from a stone with two layers of colour, light brown and cream.
