Travelling Pots- a cup decorated with a bird

Greek pottery is found all around the Mediterranean from an early period. Small cups like this, made in East Greece and known as ‘bird bowls’, were reaching sites around Greece, Italy, Sicily and the Levant by 650 BC. What is unclear is whether it was Greeks or non-Greeks who were selling or buying them.
