On Tuesdays and Thursdays in July and August 2007, members of the public of all ages were encouraged to have the experience of writing, painting, sketching or drawing on papyrus. The results were displayed in the museum, either originals or in the form of photographs, and can also be viewed online through this website and form a 'virtual papyrus' which can be viewed all around the world.
