TES Assignments: Temporary Summer Season Gallery Attendants

Assignment 1: Up to 6 months: Temporary Summer Season Sunday Gallery Attendants working:

Sunday 11.45am - 15.15pm x three posts
Sunday 12.45pm - 5.00pm x one post

Assignment 2: Up to 6 Months: Temporary Summer Season Gallery Attendants working:

4 posts all including weekend working with variable hours during the week

1x Weds Thurs Sat Sun
1xTues Fri Sat Sun
2x Variable hours

Hourly rate: £7.70

Closing date: 12 noon on 29 April 2014

Start date: on receipt of approved Police Check via Disclosure Scotland*

Interested candidates need to be available at 10.30am on Tuesday 6 May 2014 to attend a briefing at the Fitzwilliam Museum.

Training and Induction will be provided.

Candidate requirements

Applicants should be responsible, organised, adaptable, highly motivated and have previous experience of providing excellent customer service. The ability to follow instruction accurately with close attention to detail is paramount. Excellent time keeping is essential due to rostering requirements. The roles will appeal to team players as applicants will work under the immediate supervision of the Visitor Services Manager as part of the Museum’s Front of House team.

*Please note: An assignment will be conditional upon the satisfactory outcome of a Police check. Whether an outcome is satisfactory will be determined by the University
