Salary range: £17,827 - £20,559
A full time Building Technician is required to carry out maintenance repairs and related works at the Fitzwilliam Museum
Candidates considered for interview will have completed an acceptable period of training and must have knowledge and experience of traditional methods of construction and plastering, rendering, laying of bricks, blocks and other masonry materials. Equally knowledge and experience of the latest materials and construction methods are necessary.
A recognised trade apprenticeship in City & Guilds Advanced Certificate or the equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Plastering and/or Carpentry with demonstrable post apprenticeship working experience is required.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Security check.
