One year in the first instance

The Fitzwilliam Museum Development Office aims to raise funds in support of Museum projects including conservation, exhibitions and education as well as large capital projects and specific campaigns through approaches to individuals, businesses and charitable trusts.  The Office manages and develops the Friends of the Fitzwilliam Museum (1,800) and the Marlay Group, currently over 100 patrons.

Zeno Karl Schindler / MINIARE Fellow (Research Assistant, non-invasive analysis of illuminated manuscripts) Twelve-month contract starting January 2018

The Fitzwilliam Museum houses the principal collections of art and antiquities of the University of Cambridge, and holds over half a million objects in its care. The Department of Manuscripts and Printed Books (MSSPB) preserves one of the finest collections of illuminated manuscripts in the world, dating from the tenth to the sixteenth century.
